Overview

Zoo Med ReptiSun 10.0 UVB is a high-output T8 fluorescent reptile lamp intended for enclosures where stronger UVB penetration is required. The lamp emits 10% UVB and 30% UVA and is suited to larger terrariums and setups where the basking area is further from the lamp.

Zoo Med states that useful UVB reaches up to approximately 20 inches (51cm) from the lamp surface, compared with the shorter reach of its 5.0 T8 lamp.

Use & Positioning
  • Designed for reptiles requiring relatively high UVB exposure.
  • Useful where more than 12 inches of UVB penetration is needed.
