Overview

Zoo Med Repti Heat Cable is a flexible, water-resistant low-wattage heater that can be positioned where extra warmth is needed in a glass terrarium. It can be installed under a terrarium or secured around suitable branches and cage furniture, making it useful for creating localised warmth and a thermal gradient.

This 15W version is 3.5m (11.5ft) long and includes an unheated cold lead between the heated section and the plug.

Installation & Safety
  • Can be attached underneath or to the outside back wall of a glass terrarium.
  • Can also be wrapped around suitable wood or resin branches inside the terrarium.
  • Keep at least 3cm between adjacent runs of cable and never allow the cable to cross over itself.
  • Do not bury or encapsulate the cable in substrate.
  • Do not submerge in water and do not use with aquariums or aquatic habitats.
  • Monitor enclosure temperatures and use an appropriate thermostat or rheostat where required.

For glass terrariums only. Keep the electrical connection outside the enclosure and follow the supplied installation instructions carefully.
