Overview
Zoo Med ReptiVite with D3 is a reptile supplement powder designed to be used with food as part of a balanced feeding routine. It brings together vitamins, minerals and amino acids in a calcium-rich formula, with added vitamin D3 to support everyday reptile nutrition.
The formula is built around a 2:1 calcium-to-phosphorus ratio and is intended to help support healthy bone development. It was originally developed for the San Diego Zoo to address soft-shell issues in turtles, and it became known for being the first reptile vitamin to include the full amino acid complex.

Application
- Insectivores: coat crickets lightly with the powder and feed around 12 dusted crickets per week for every 2.5 oz (71 g) of body weight.
- Herbivores: use about 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 cc) per 5 oz (142 g) of body weight.
- Omnivores: either application method can be used.
Composition
This supplement includes dicalcium phosphate, precipitated calcium carbonate, maltodextrins, potassium chloride, salt, dried kelp, dl-alpha tocopherol acetate and cholecalciferol as the source of vitamin D3, alongside a broad amino acid and vitamin-mineral profile.
The amino acid profile includes arginine, histidine, isoleucine, leucine, lysine, methionine, phenylalanine, threonine, valine, alanine, aspartic acid, cystine, glutamine, glycine, serine and tyrosine.
