Overview

Vetark Critical Care Formula is a complementary feed designed for short-term nutritional support when an animal’s metabolism has been disturbed. It is suitable for reptiles, birds and mammals, making it a practical option for cross-species care where extra energy support is needed during times such as starvation, loss of appetite, surgery or recovery.

The formula combines an energy-supplying carbohydrate base with protein concentrate to help provide focused support in a palatable powder format. It can be mixed with water for direct administration, and the feeding guidance is set out by species so it can be used more confidently for different animals.

This is a complementary feed and is not intended to replace the main diet.

The formula is built around dextrose and whey protein powder concentrate, with the product line also described as a blend of short-chain maltodextrins and protein concentrate supplemented with amino acids. The protein source is designed to be close to whole egg protein.
