The Reptile Systems Zone 3 D3 T8 12% UVB lamp is a full-spectrum fluorescent tube for reptiles that benefit from relatively high UVB exposure and regular basking. It is intended for Ferguson Zone 3-style setups and provides UVB to support normal vitamin D3 synthesis.

This compact 450mm, 15W version is suited to smaller installations requiring a T8 Zone 3 tube.

Use & Suitability
  • Designed for high-UV basking reptiles and comparable Ferguson Zone 3 species.
  • Use with a compatible T8 fluorescent controller or ballast.
  • A suitable reflector can increase the amount of usable light directed into the enclosure.
  • Provide shaded areas so the animal can move away from direct UV exposure.
  • Replace the lamp periodically as UV output declines with use.

Position and exposure should always be matched to the species and enclosure rather than UV percentage alone.
