About This Product

The ProRep adhesive cloth heat mat provides gentle radiant heat for reptile, amphibian and invertebrate enclosures. It uses a cloth heating element to produce long-wave infrared warmth that heats the animal and enclosure furnishings rather than relying on a large rise in air temperature.

This 11 × 11" mat is rated at 12W. Heat mats are useful where a broad, gentle warm area is required, while species needing a more intense basking zone may also need a separate suitable heat source.

The adhesive-backed format is designed to make fixed positioning straightforward when the installation method and enclosure material are suitable.
