Standard silent crickets are active feeder insects suitable for a broad range of established insect-eating reptiles, amphibians and exotic pets. Their movement helps stimulate natural chasing, pouncing and hunting behaviour.
Despite their name, adult males may still make some noise, although they are generally quieter than traditional house crickets.

How to Use
- Feed only in quantities appropriate to your pet’s age, size and diet.
- Gut-load for approximately 24–48 hours before feeding where practical.
- Dust with calcium or vitamin supplement as directed by your animal’s care plan.
- Supervise feeding and remove crickets that remain uneaten.
- Do not leave large numbers loose in the enclosure overnight.
Keeping Crickets
Keep in a secure, dry and well-ventilated container with suitable hiding surfaces. Provide appropriate insect food and safe hydration, and avoid overcrowding, direct sunlight and temperature extremes.
