Suitable For

Small locusts may be suitable for juvenile bearded dragons, smaller chameleons, leopard geckos, crested geckos, frogs and other appropriately sized insectivorous reptiles, amphibians or exotic pets.

Check each insect before feeding and use a smaller grade where the locust appears too large for the individual animal.

How to Feed

  • Offer as part of a balanced, species-appropriate diet.
  • Gut-load the locusts with suitable feeder-insect food before use.
  • Dust with calcium or vitamin supplement according to your pet’s requirements.
  • Offer loose for supervised hunting or individually with suitable feeding tongs.
  • Remove any locusts that remain uneaten after the feeding session.

Keep in a secure, dry and well-ventilated container away from direct sunlight and temperature extremes. Provide suitable insect food and safe hydration to help maintain the locusts before feeding.
