Burgess Excel Junior & Dwarf Rabbit Nuggets Mint 3kg
Overview
Burgess Excel Junior & Dwarf Rabbit Nuggets with Mint are designed for junior and dwarf rabbits from 1 week old. The mint-flavoured nuggets are made to be tasty, while the nugget format helps reduce selective feeding and keeps every mouthful consistent.
This high-fibre recipe is formulated with vets and nutritionists and is built to support growth and development. It combines extra protein with prebiotics, beneficial fibre, antioxidants such as vitamin E, and added vitamins and minerals to help keep rabbits in good condition as they grow.
It is a practical everyday option for young rabbits and dwarf rabbits where a hay-and-nugget approach is preferred over a muesli-style diet. Hay and/or fresh grass should always be available and should make up the majority of the diet, with fresh water available at all times.
- Mint flavour adds extra taste appeal to the nuggets
- High fibre and prebiotics help support healthy digestion

When moving a rabbit from muesli to nuggets, make the change gradually over 14 to 28 days and monitor bodyweight during the switch.
| Small dwarf rabbit 1–1.5kg | 20–30g per day |
| Large dwarf rabbit 2–2.5kg | 40–50g per day |
| Junior rabbit | Feed freely up to 80g per day |
| Lactating doe | 240–280g per day |
Keep the diet hay-led, use nuggets as the measured feed, and always provide clean drinking water.
